It was the race that the world had been anticipating at the Beijing Olympics, delayed because of injuries to Terrence Trammell and his rival, Liu Xiang.

The two finally faced off on Sunday at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix, and the 110m hurdles showdown lived up to the hype, ending in a photo finish. But it was T2, not Liu, who came out on top, winning in 13.15 seconds.
As reported by IAAF.org:
A tsunami of cheers and applause swept the stadium as the Shanghai native crossed the finish line abreast of American Terrence Trammell in 13.15. Trammell, having become familiar with second places at the 2007 and 2009 World championships, as well as in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics was awarded first this time.
