A Record at Reebok

Terrence Trammell is starting the 2009-10 track season just like last year's -- by blowing away the competition.
T2 took home the 60m hurdles title at the Reebok Indoor Games on Saturday, cruising to victory in a meet record 7.49 seconds. As he told the Boston Globe:
“I felt pretty good...I executed over the last half. I made a lot of mistakes in the middle and I’m going to work to correct that, but to not have my best race technically and win, I’m pleased.’’
IAAF.org put the victory into its proper context, showing that Terrence is setting the world standard at 60m:
Terrence Trammell continued his domination of the U.S. short hurdles scene, getting ahead of the field in the 60m hurdles before the first hurdle and extending his lead with each of the five leaps. Trammell's 7.49 matched exactly his time from the Millrose Games, a world leader at the time and now just .01 behind the 7.48 run by Dayron Robles in Stuttgart earlier the same day.
