02/12/2012 - 13:36 Edged at the Line by

Looking to build off his season opening victory two weeks ago, Terrence Trammell returned to New York and came up just short of a second straight win on Saturday night.
Terrence took second with a time of 7.52 in the hotly contested 60-meter hurdles at the 2012 Millrose Games at the Armory. He was edged at the line by the lean of fellow American David Oliver.
Watch the race beginning to end below:
The race was about as close as one can get with the top three hurdlers finishing with two hundredths of a second of one another. Terrence got out of the blocks hot, but Oliver surged at the finish, beating T2 by mere centimeters at the line. It was so close that the race had to be reviewed before the official results were posted.
Terrence now has two great finishes on his ledger to start the season, including a win in the 50mH at The U.S. Open on January 28 at Madison Square Garden.
